Gene Simmons revealed in a new interview that KISS may do a Las Vegas show or possibly movies or cartoons after they conclude their End Of The Road Farewell Tour. Gene added that KISS will not really end after this tour because of the legacy the band leaves behind. He said they’re not the best songwriters in the world or anything like that, but he thinks KISS’ legacy will be that they raised the stakes. Once they came out it was no longer enough to just get up on stage and strum an acoustic guitar. KISS gave people more bang for their buck. He added that bands don’t need to stick out their tongue or breathe fire, but give fans a show and give them something for their ears and eyes. Gene, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehely and Peter Criss were just four knuckleheads from the streets of New York City who decided to put together the band that they never saw on stage. So KISS will never be over for the bands that follow and that’s what a legacy is. Gene added they will continue but everyone will have to wait until the tour is over to see what happens next.
