Queen guitarist Brian May has revealed the details of a depression he experienced over the Christmas holiday season. May shared his story on Instagram alongside an image of himself and a Jimi Hendrix painting he uses for motivation to take on each day as it comes. May said “Thanks to my good friend Joe Elliott, I have this great image of my hero Jimi Hendrix to remind me to keep reaching for the stars”. It’s kind of an ironic saying since Dr. Brian May got his degree in astro physics a few years ago and aside from being a rock star, he’s working with the team trying to save humanity from a planet killer asteroid.
