A new book documenting Jimmy Page’s musical career through selected materials from his personal archives will be published this fall. Billed as the companion piece to his 2010 book “Jimmy Page By Jimmy Page”, The Anthology traces his journey from listening to blues records with childhood friend Jeff Beck to performing on TV in a skiffle band, to this colossal body of session work in the 60’s through the Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin and on to other bands Page has been in including The Firm, Coverdale Page and Page & Plant. Narrated entirely in Page’s own words, this new book includes photo’s spanning six decades including items from Page’s personal collection from iconic guitars to stage costumes to rare posters and vinyl pressings, correspondence and even diary entires. The book is limited to 2,500 copies personally signed by page and is bound in black leather with gold leaf.
