The Steve Miller Band is releasing a new career-spanning collection called Welcome To The Vault. Opening his massive archive for the first time, this new 3 CD+DVD package will contain 52 audio tracks, including studio hits, alternative and live version and 5 never heard before tracks, 21 performances on DVD, live footage including rare footage from the 1967 Montery Pop Festival, a 1973 appearance on Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert, ABC In Concert from 1974, a 1970 concert from the Filmore West, Michigan’s Pine Knob Theatre show in 1982, plus Steve and his guitar teacher Les Paul (Les was friends with Miller’s Dad) at Fat Tuesday’s in 1990 and Austin City Limits in 2011. Plus this new package contains 38 previously unreleased recordings and a 100 page hard bound book with personal Steve Miller photos and an essay by David Fricke from Rolling Stone magazine. Just in case that’s not enough, you also get 10 guitar picks with Steve Miller’s famous Pegasus logo and an authentic backstage pass from Miller’s personal vault!
