Ace Frehely from KISS is sharing an update on his next studio album. It’s going to be entitled “Origins Vol. 2”. It’s a sequel to a 2016 collection of covers that influenced his playing and a follow up to his 2018 album “Spaceman”. Ace says the concept of the new album is redoing songs from bands that influenced him growing up, so there’s a Hendrix song, a Cream song, a Led Zeppelin song, an Animals song…even a tune from Paul Revere & The Raiders. “Origins Vol. 2” is tentatively due for release later this year.
